Brieff, the AI-powered platform that helps accounting firms streamline client advisory, today announced the launch of its in-person AI Notetaker in Beta. This new feature extends Brieff’s existing online AI note-taking capabilities to face-to-face meetings, allowing advisors to capture every discussion without the distraction of manual notes.

“We’re thrilled to introduce our in-person AI Notetaker,” said Kate Shanahan, Co-Founder of Brieff. “It’s a major step in preserving the benefits of in-person meetings while harnessing rapidly growing AI capabilities. Advisors can now focus entirely on client engagement, knowing the conversation is being securely recorded and summarised.”

The in-person AI Notetaker completes Brieff’s comprehensive advisory workflow:

  • Automated Client Check-ins gather context before meetings
  • AI Prep provides key insights for advisors
  • AI Notetaker captures online and in-person meetings, identifying speakers by voice whenever possible
  • Instant Meeting Summaries are generated automatically, tracking goals and action items for follow-up

In early testing, firms report saving hours of admin time each month. Adrian Hondros of Hondros Consulting notes, “The AI Notetaker is perfect. I can properly engage with clients rather than trying to engage and take notes. I used to spend an hour typing up meeting notes. Now it’s maybe ten minutes.”

Advisors can pause and resume recordings as needed, with all data securely stored and processed within Brieff’s system—even if a device is locked or running in the background.
