June has been a busy month behind the scenes at WorkflowMax. We’ve been listening to your feedback and working hard to make sure your experience is smoother and smarter than ever. Check out our June product update video to see what’s new and how these updates add more value to your day-to-day.

A new intuitive navigation menu and quick add

It’s often the little things that make a big difference, like how easily you find your most-used features. The new menu groups everything by business process, so you’ll be able to jump straight to the tools you need. For example, under Purchases, you’ll now find Suppliers and Purchase Orders grouped together. This makes it much quicker to move around the app, especially when time is tight.

New staff joining your business will see the new menu by default. If you’re an existing user, you can switch it on (or off) from your profile settings.

The new Quick Add feature adds a ‘+’ button to the top-right corner of every page, so you can instantly create a timesheet, add a cost, or set up a new purchase order or invoice, no matter where you are in the app. It’s a small change that makes a big impact when you’re working on the go or managing multiple jobs at once.

Build summary reports with less effort

Making sense of your numbers just got easier. You can now build monthly summary reports that group and total any numerical field, like the value of invoices raised, split by month and by client. It’s a powerful new way to see trends at a glance, track your progress, and make confident decisions. This reporting feature is currently available for invoices and quotes, and we’ll be rolling it out to other data types soon.

More options when duplicating jobs

Duplicating jobs shouldn’t mean endless manual tidy-up. Now, when you duplicate a job, you can choose exactly what gets copied over - tasks, costs, notes and milestones. Soon, you’ll also be able to copy attached documents. This update gives you more flexibility and saves time when setting up similar jobs for new clients or projects.

Easier quoting with custom rates

Every job is different, and your quoting process should reflect that. You can now use custom job rates you’ve set for a quote alongside your usual staff and task rates. This gives you more flexibility, so you can tailor your quotes to meet your needs and make sure you capture all the value you provide.

Editing clients on approved invoices

Details change, mistakes happen, and now you have the freedom to update the client on an approved invoice. That way, you keep your records tidy without the hassle of cancelling and recreating invoices. Plus, any changes are automatically synced to Xero, so everything seamlessly remains in sync.

Improved purchase order management

It’s now easy to cancel or delete a bill entered against a purchase order, or to remove a stock receipt. You can fix mistakes on the spot, saving time and cutting out confusion. And coming soon, you’ll also have the option to revise a purchase order after it’s been issued,  so you always stay in control.

Import custom fields in bulk

Need to add lots of custom fields? Now you can do it in bulk by importing from a CSV file. It’s a huge time-saver, especially when setting up a new account or expanding your workflow to capture more detail.

What do these updates mean for you?

These changes are all about saving you time, cutting down on manual work, and helping you get paid faster, so you can focus on growing your business.
