Connect Receipt Bot to Thousands of Apps with Zapier
You’ve asked for ways to connect your favourite tools to Receipt Bot, and we’re excited to deliver! With our new Zapier integration, you can now connect Receipt Bot with thousands of other applications, unlocking a world of automation possibilities.

- Our initial Zapier template allows you to automatically upload documents to Receipt Bot from services like Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. We’ll be adding more templates soon.

An improved Mobile Upload Experience
Capturing documents on the go should be fast, clear, and intuitive. We’ve enhanced the upload experience in our iOS and Android receipt scanner apps to provide you with more control and a smoother workflow.
- Enhanced Photo Quality: Your camera flash now operates during document capture, ensuring crisp, clear images in any lighting condition.
- Consistent Capture: The camera view now locks to portrait orientation, providing a more stable scanning experience.
- In-App Image Editing: You can now edit (crop, rotate, flip) and delete images directly in the app before you upload.
- Flexible Transaction Notes: A new setting allows you to enable/disable transaction notes, or hide the pop-up after the first use, to streamline your workflow.
- Set Your Extraction Preferences: Choose your preferences directly from your mobile device, just as you do on the web app. This ensures you have consistent control and accuracy. You can enable auto-reclassification of documents and specify the level of extraction detail, selecting from options such as Line Items, Key Information & Totals only, or VAT Summary.
Improved Offline Experience on Mobile Apps
You can now reliably view the document details even when your internet connection is unavailable. This ensures you always have immediate access to your most recent work. We have also improved the Mobile apps to prevent confusion when you’re offline. Actions that require an internet connection, such as reclassifying or deleting documents, will now clearly indicate that they cannot be performed until your device is back online.
Get Push Notifications on All Your Devices
To ensure you never miss a critical update, we’ve improved push notifications for both Android and iOS apps.
- You will now receive notifications on every mobile device where you are logged into your Receipt Bot account.
- Tapping a notification will now take you directly to the relevant page within the app.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
- Safari Uploads: We have fixed an issue that prevented some users from uploading documents when using the Safari browser.
- Practice Profile Data: Your Practice Profile will now always show accurate information after switching between accounts.
- Paused Document Workflow: You can now seamlessly reclassify, transfer, or delete documents in a ‘process paused’ state. We have also fixed an issue that prevented reclassification to the ‘Other Documents’ module.
- Payment Method Imports: We resolved an issue that caused payment method imports to fail when non-mandatory fields were left blank.
- Discount Code Application: The ‘Apply Discount’ option also correctly appears for cancelled subscriptions.
- Announcement Pop-ups: Announcement messages will now stay dismissed once closed and will not reappear on page refresh or navigation.
- ‘Unarchive’ Button Display: The ‘Unarchive’ button on Purchase and Sale Invoice pages will now only appear when appropriate.
- Upload History Download: The “Download Excel” button is now correctly displayed on the “Upload History” page for “Other Documents.”
